Our club also prepares members for pre-requisite classes like F255 and F210, which are essential for entering the prestigious Investment Banking Workshop. We provide a structured learning environment where you’ll refine your financial analysis skills, master the intricacies of financial statements, and learn to navigate market trends with confidence. By participating in mock interviews, receiving feedback from industry professionals, and attending guest lectures from experts in investment banking, you'll be fully equipped to excel in these courses and make the most of the Investment Banking Workshop. Sales and Trading

Sales and trading is a dynamic and fast-paced field where professionals buy and sell financial instruments, manage risk, and make markets for institutional and individual clients. As part of our club, members will gain a deep understanding of the technical skills needed for success in sales and trading, including market analysis, risk management, and trading strategies. You will develop expertise in financial products such as stocks, bonds, derivatives, and currencies while learning how to interpret market signals and execute trades efficiently. Additionally, members will refine their quantitative abilities, gaining proficiency in data analysis and using tools like Excel and Bloomberg to monitor and analyze real-time market activity. The club also focuses on developing the critical soft skills necessary for success in this field, such as decision-making under pressure, effective communication, and negotiating skills, all of which are essential for thriving in a fast-moving, client-driven environment.

 

We also provide preparation for the Investment Management Workshop, equipping members with the skills and knowledge necessary for excelling in this prestigious program. The workshop focuses on the strategic aspects of managing investment portfolios, understanding market trends, and applying risk management techniques—skills that are critical in sales and trading roles. Through case studies, simulations, and guest speaker events, members gain insights into the key strategies employed by top traders and portfolio managers. Equity Research focuses on analyzing publicly traded companies to provide actionable insights that drive investment decisions. Unlike asset management, which manages portfolios on the buy side, equity research operates on the sell side, producing in-depth reports, financial models, and recommendations that inform both institutional and retail investors. Members of our club will develop critical skills in financial analysis, valuation techniques, and industry research, enabling them to assess company fundamentals, forecast performance, and identify investment opportunities.

Credit Research focuses on analyzing the creditworthiness of companies, industries, and issuers to inform fixed-income investment decisions. Unlike equity research, which evaluates upside potential for shareholders, credit research focuses on assessing downside risk, capital structure strength, and the likelihood a borrower can meet its obligations. Members of our club will develop core skills in credit modeling, bond valuation, covenant analysis, and risk assessment - enabling them to evaluate debt instruments, forecast default risk, and identify attractive opportunities across investment-grade and high-yield markets.​

Private Wealth Management

Private wealth management focuses on helping high-net-worth individuals and families grow, preserve, and manage their wealth through tailored financial strategies and investment solutions. Wealth Management (CFP)

Wealth Management with a CFP focus centers on guiding individuals and families through comprehensive financial planning to help them build, protect, and transfer their wealth across generations. As a member of our club, you will develop essential technical skills in areas such as retirement planning, tax strategy, estate planning, insurance analysis, and long-term cash-flow modeling—core components of the CFP framework. You will also learn how to assess client goals, analyze full financial profiles, and create holistic, personalized plans that address every stage of a client’s financial life. Beyond technical expertise, we emphasize relationship-driven skills such as communication, empathy, and trust-building, which are critical for understanding client needs and delivering advisory guidance that lasts over decades.

 

Our program also prepares members for admission into the Wealth Management Workshop, which provides deep exposure to financial planning, client advisory practices, and real-world casework grounded in the CFP curriculum. Through scenario-based planning exercises, client simulations, and sessions led by industry professionals, members gain insight into how advisors construct comprehensive financial plans and deliver actionable recommendations.
